Are there any fletchers/arrowsmiths out there offering spliced fletchings for sale? I would like some 5.5" r.w. shiled cuts that are grey barred with the tail end spliced white for an inch or two. I NEED to see my arrows in flight and I'd like these for Spring turkey hunting. I would probably want about at least a dozen...maybe two dozen. Let me know via pm or this forum. Thanks, Mike

I think James Young with Clearfork Archery has them, he's a sponser here.

Mike,
You can always use the "cheater" method for splicing feathers. It results in a very nice looking arrow, and its easy to accomplish with a little practice.
What I do is take two feathers that I want to splice.  I have a drawn a template out on a sheet of paper for the measurements of each feather.  I lay each feather down against this template and mark where to cut.  I use a small pair of surgical style scissors, and ensure the cut is exactly perpendicular to the quill.  Do the same with the second color. Since you've cut each section from the same area of the feather, and used an exact cut, they will match up really well.
I then put the two pieces together in the fletching jig to see how they fit and line up. You may need to work the edges of the quills for better fit.  Also, a small piece of sandpaper is handy if one quill is larger than the other.
Anyways, heres a couple of pics of some that I've done.  Its really easy when you get the hang of it.
