Killdeer

I must say that Pete takes instruction well! Now, about that thread...  :bigsmyl:

Killdeer
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

3 different deer. all northern mn bow kills. the top one was shot with the all black "cheap" version widow and a magnus single blade. the others were shot with a bighorn recurve and wensel woodsman.  the top one dressed 271 and the others 265 and 240. the big one in the first pic was killed right on the fringe of his bedroom. i found a huge signpost rub in early oct and waited for the right wind and snuck in before daylight. he came by after sunrise to bed for the day. stopped to nail the rub and i shot him at 10yrds or so. thanks for the kind words.

by the way...the dates on the pictures are the same because i took  digital pics of existing 35mm pictures so i could upload to pc
