Anyone try to make arrows from this?

I was wondering the same thing. I went to buy some leather for a grip the other day and saw the boo and thought HMMMMMM.......

Folks use boo from K-Mart and Wally World for arrows so I guess Michael's boo would work. It probably ain't that expensive so give it a try.   Pat

I am anxiously awaiting the opening of the new Michaels in my town.

I've bought bamboo plant stakes from our local Bell's Nursery and used 'em for arrows.  Toughest darn material I've ever seen!!  Now I just use ramin dowels from JoAnn's Fabricks.  It's a bonus that me and the wife can shop at the same time and neither is bored to tears!!

I buy bamboo plant stakes from Home Depot and Lowes and have had very good luck with it.  It really isn't very hard to make some tough shafts out of it.
