I work in a bow shop and one of the compound shooters actually said this and was serious."My bow is so fast that I've shot through deer and there was no blood on the arrow."Yeah,in my day we called that a miss.I couldn't believe he actually believed it.

While out hunting a while back came up to a compounder sniffing his arrow. "Just had a complete pass thru on a hog-and there was no damned blood trail to follow; and none even on my arrow-look" he exclaimed!

My bow is so fast that after i shoot i reach into my quiver for another arrow and the first one is already back in there. Needless to say my quiver is never emety

I put on ear plugs because when my arrow breaks the sound barrier,it is LOUD (sonic boom, you know).
