Year old bowhunter.  That's me as of today.  I still feel like I'm in my early 30s, what gives?

Seriously,  glad to be in the bracket, honestly didn't think I'd make it this long. So thankful I'm able to still go with gusto! I am truly blessed :campfire:

I remember the day I turned 50 (I'm a month from 67 now) walking out of the house; sitting under a big pine in my backyard... and reflecting the consequences of age. I sort of took away from my hour long sabbatical that you plan everyday of life with the mindset that 'you can' until the day comes that you can't. It seems your already on that track. Good for you.

I'm inspired by my best hunting buddy who turned 80 in September and accompanied me on my Iowa trip this year. He plans hunts just like he did in his younger days...I think he has hunts planned out for the next three years at this point! As we all have heard, age is just a number.

Happy birthday! I think you will find that your hearing improves with age. So does your eyesight, strength, endurance, ability to pee, etc.
