I suck at tying off servings. Tried a bunch of different ways and Im pretty decent with knots. Any good threads, tips, or videos would be appreciated!

I take about a 12" piece of serving or string material, double it up and place the closed end away from the serving but laying along the string, then make 5 or 6 serving wraps around the string and the doubled up thread.  Then cut the serving thread with maybe 3" left unserved, place that loose end thru the closed doubled up end, then pull the doubled up thread back thru the 5 or 6 wraps.  Sorry this will read clear as mud.  No knot!

I'm sure you've looked it up, but if not, this video explains it really well. It's a bit easier watching it as opposed to reading it sometimes.
