Today is the anniversary of Paul Schafer's passing.  Another ICON of the bowhunting culture who will be fondly remembered.  Requiescat en paz.

Thanks, Mike.  HIs sports accomplishments were on par with his hunting feats.  Not only was he a college football star, but his was also state champion wrestler in high school at least once.

Awesome pictures!  I was lucky enough to get to talk to him on the phone and order a bow with two sets of limbs about two years before he died in his skiing accident. He was an awesome hunter and bowyer.
