Congratulations on both the kill and the story!    I must say that there are a ton of dog teams in Alabama that in all likelihood would have found your buck in 10 minutes.  The Facebook page Alabama Blood Trailing Network has a list of trackers by county.   I advise hunters to trail their deer but if not found within 125-150 yards back out and call a dog.

Yeah I'm on there. Thought about it for a minute but I'm stubborn and was determined to find that deer myself.

Not saying I wouldn't call a dog, but it'd sure have to be pretty extreme circumstances.
