I always thought the white sticks out like a turd in a punch bowl myself, and have used mostly use gold on black limbs. I think I'm going to play with these new pens a bit before i order the gold ink and make sure i like em.... Thanks guys!

Hey Jeff,  Is it important to use the cleaner and empty the ink between uses?  How long can they set, before it causes problems?    Kirk

Unless you are going to use the pens every day. I rinse the pen out with water s lot them I use the cleaner per instructions.Clean out after each use. I don't put much ink in them when I do my signing. JF

Jeff, I recall from drafting that those pens need to be held perpendicular to the writing surface to work correctly. Do you find that to be true when when writing on on your bows?

Jeff Freeman

Yes almost perpendicular. You can get away with about a 10° lay back. JF

Back in my days of drafting we used mechanical pencils, not pens....but some guys inked the mylar dwgs. Now days it's all done on auto cad. Actually..... it's been that way for pretty much the last 25 years.

I remember the last few sets of drawings i took to have copied at a blueprint shop they told me they hadn't seen a set of pencil drawings for years... I did general contracting for many years and did all my own drafting and design work.

The big one that changed was the surveying industry when all these GPS units came out... Nobody knows what pulling a chain even means anymore, or how to use a transit. :dunno: :dunno:     Times change....

Well.... I just tried out one of these new pens, and I'm not feeling the love....while they are VERY precise, and the size is ok,  the flow of the ink is too slow for me....

i bought the 2/.60 tip size, with both Black and White ink, and the KOH--I-NOOR pen cleaner.

After tying the pen out, i cleaned it well with the pen cleaner and put it back in the package. I would  be more than glad to pass this pen & Ink along to someone else that appreciates it more than i do.
My writing style requires a quicker flow rate than this pen has.... I had similar issues using a calligraphy pen.
