I do think faster is better for flatter flying arrow but watching a arrow fly is cool too.

Traditional archery is an artful practice, from hand-building to loosing arrows. That is why it appeals to me and performance is part of the practice. It is always good to get a refresher in what makes things work. Thanks for the link Bue.

John Harvard was the H in A&H bows. Adcock and Harvard. Those two guys developed some good shooters over the years, and AdCock held some world records in flight shooting with those bows.

I can't remember when Harvard teamed up with Dryad, and haven't really kept up with the development of their newer bows. I "drove my development pegs" quite a few years ago.

I can't help but chuckle thinking of Shredd arguing with John Harvard on bow performance.... Cracks me up.... Everything written in Johns article is spot on.

Another guy that came up with some really good bow designs is Bob Morrison. Great guy to talk to, and pretty easy going.That old boy has been around the barn a few times.

Next time I start getting the mad scientist itch, I may have to try one of these Turkish style bows... I think those are very cool, and intriguing.     Kirk
