Bear polar

I just picked up a bear polar 64 in 44 # I think it is 1955 are these bows still safe to shoot if they are in good shape. It has the double shelf and leather grip could use refinishing also does anyone still make the silk screens all the glue lines are tite just the Finnish is flaking off[attachment=1][attachment=1][attachment=1][attachment=1]
