I was going over a friend's old archery items and found 2 vintage 8 arrow quivers. See pictures below. I know one is a Bear Quiver cause it has a Bear Archery Grayling logo on the hood, but instead of spring arms it has what appears to be brackets for bolting onto a bow.  My questions are 1) is this a recurve quiver? 2) What bear bows would this quiver fit? & 3) What year was this quiver produced? The second quiver is definitely a spring arm quiver but the hood has been painted and does not have any logo decals or imprints. It appears to be a Bear spring arm quiver. My question – is there any other way to verify this is a Bear quiver or not?

Thanks for any information
Jim

There's a picture of Fred mounting one on a compound bow in the 1975 Bear catalog. You can see it by going to : vintagearchery.org.   Click on catalog and then click Bear.

Both are Bear 8 arrow quivers. The lower one looks to be a "short" R.H. model. It will fit bows 58" and shorter. The upper spring arm can be adjusted up or down.

Actually, I think I looked at the lower one the wrong way. It's a short L.H. model.

The position the lower quiver is in. Is there 5 arrow grippers facing up, or 3 ?
