I am getting my second Pfizer shot Thursday, and am scheduled to work through Saturday, so if I make it, it's a miracle.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Now I have a Dutch Oven. How did Doc do that?

That was a very tasty pineapple upside-down cake. In a Dutch oven in camp!
I don't even make them at home. One of my favorites, though. Still remember the first one I ever bit. I could eat a whole one!

Thanks Killdeer. Makes my mouth water. Prayers up for Doc.

Y'all see that wheelchair in the background?
Doc brought it for me. I had broken my leg, and he had this wheel chair which he brought, to help me get around the shoot better. He printed up a sign to reserve a parking space for me.

That's Doc.

For over a decade I've had almost daily email conversations with Dave.

Within the last week, Dave's condition has worsened to the point of almost immobility.  Today, with the help of his Pastor, who drove down from PA, he was hospitalized and now made as comfortable as possible with pain meds.

Dave could surely use our prayers.

Rob,
Thank you so much for the update. My heart is racing right now knowing all Docs been through and He is on my mind about every second wondering how he is doing.
He is in good hands and I pray he is as comfortable as possible with the meds.
Jesus we pray your light shines brightly on Doc and May he know we Love him and miss his presence daily.
If it's your Will Father carry Doc Home and let him know his job here is done.
We pray for a miracle but Doc just wants to be pain free and I know he is ready to go Home.
"Keep your eyes on the Son Doc " We will always ,forever and no matter what remember you my friend.
   I miss you already......

Thanks Rob for that update.  I can take some comfort now knowing that he is not alone, but with a cherished friend, and in the correct care to manage his pain properly.  He deserves at least that much.  I continue to pray for a miracle, yet know that God's grace shall be bestowed upon him regardless of the outcome.  I pray for his pain to be gone, for him to be comforted, and for him to know just how much he is loved here.

Doc has helped ease the pain in so many lives, let his pain be lifted as well.
