new to traditional hunting, but i see so many pictures of hunters skinning game without gloves, i just read a thread on here about the dangers of not using hand protection.  

Just wondering are these folk so proficient @ skinning that its a moot point accidents happen all the time.  I'm just wondering why risk it...

I just have never carried any with me.  I think its a good idea, but should the opportunity to skin arise, I skin, with or without gloves.
