Nice job Bisch. What did you name your bow, black death or the black plague? Either name sure fits.
My longbow is named "The Black Plague". The bowyer, Bob Sarrels, is mostly responsible for that name. I ordered this bow plain jane, with a solid one piece riser and black glass on the limbs (I am too rough on them to have "pretty" bows). One day while he was building it he called me up and told me to come over his shop so I could see if the grip ws OK before he finished the bow.

I was standing there in his yard shooting the bow when another customer came up. Bob introduced him to me saying; "This is Bisch. He has killed more critters than the black plague!" I looked down at the bow in my hands and knew that it had just been named.

BTW, I have only named two bows in my whole life.

Nice bird.  I've only seen a few bearded hens in the past while hunting.  Very cool.

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
