Last one for the Holidays...Tippit Forge South now closed till 2017!  Here's the skinny on this knife. The handle is Pecan that comes from Thomas Jefferson's Monticello Plantation. The new owner of this knife has some really historic wood...very fun to play with!  Maybe to think that at one time either George Washington or Thomas Jefferson were sitting in the shade of these two trees thinking or writing about our new nation! If only they could talk...but it causes one to ponder just feeling the wood.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
