HI Rob
Nice knife, what type grinder are you using?
I have a Bur-King and Bader-III. I like the Bur-King much better. Belt tracking is much tighter on the BK.
Keep working on those plunges, you'll get them down.

Why does that make me think about a gut pile?
That is a sweet piece of work my friend.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

"What is a plunge?"

A plunge is where the start of the beveling of either a hollow ground or flat grind line starts on the blade. I make some knifes with it and some without. One thing to remember depending on your sharpening method the plunge and where it starts can make sharpening the entire blade either difficult or impossible. Theres several ways around this when making a knife with a plunge. The picture below only one knife has a plunge (second from right).

Most people get rich by making more money than they have needs, me, I just reduced my needs!
