We have been having very hot days since the opener here in Jersey. So when I heard it was going to be in the low 60s,I got ready for a evening hunt.Picked up my buddy and off we went.I saw a total of nine deer of which 3 were bucks,1 big boy.My buddy saw 1 doe.At 5:30 I heard a deer coming and a doe walk across the front of me giving me my 15 yd. quartering away shot from my treestand. My 175 grn Pearson Deadhead put her down on the spot. After putting her in my truck,I was greeted by my buddy who had harvested a 4 ptr. What a evening hunt.
