...the wake up call was when the state issued  lifetime lisences that included everything (even Doe Permits) before oct 1st 2009 . Those who chose not to purchase them are at the mercy now of those down state that will make you from now on pay for your right to hunt and fish . Its not going to get any better from what I am hearing .

I don't think it is an upstate/downstate conflict. I think it's just 'follow the money'.

Yup pretty much coming from down state if you want to believe it or not , they've been in our pockets forever , thats why our taxes are so high and but thats not enough now so they are coming up with ways to get more out of our privileges bvy raising fees and special seasons.
