this is a pic of last years sunrise on the way to the bunny stomp....wouldnt it be nice to duplicate this!


 

I'm working on a few more beagles...if you guys are bringing a beagle let me know...hopefully well lose some snow and get some good runs too!

Steve, I will be there and I will bring plastic ware,paper plates, bowls, hot and cold cups, garbage bags napkins and paper towel. So everyone doesn't have to worry about that stuff. See ya's there!

MICHIGAN ANNUAL BUNNY STOMP 2009

DATE: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7th
TIME: 8 AM
MEETING POINT: US127, PRICE ROAD, EXIT 91 (ST JOHNS, MI) Follow bunny stomp signs to pavillion .

8:30 AM HEAD TO SLEEPY HOLLOW ST PARK (10 MIN. DRIVE)
9AM MORNING BUNNY STOMP
12PM LUNCH (BRING A DISH TO PASS) DRINKS, PLASTIC WARE WILL BE PROVIDED. WE WILL HAVE A GRILL AND A COUPLE FRYERS.
1PM ST JUDE RAFFLE AND FUN SHOOTS (DONATIONS WELCOME!)
3PM AFTERNOON BUNNY STOMP

POINTS TO PONDER

WE MUST FOLLOW DNR SMALL GAME LAWS, HUNTER ORANGE AND SMALL GAME LICENSE
LONGBOW, RECURVE, AND SELFBOW ONLY
BLUNTS & JUDOS ONLY (NO BROADHEADS OR FIELD POINTS)
BRING YOUR BEAGLE

THERE WILL BE A SMALL FEE TO ENTER THE STATE PARK...IF THERE IS NOONE AT THE BOOTH, THEN THEY TYPICALLY PUT A ENVELOPE ON YOUR WINDSHIELD TO PAY ON THE WAY OUT...

Does a non resident need to purchase a state ID card in order to buy a n/r small game license?

Jeff, You can get a 3 day non-resident small game license for 30.00.  Not sure if you need the Sportscard but it's only another 1.00

Last year we saw a good number of bunnies...I hope we lose some of this snow this year... I jumped 9 yesterday around my place in Dansville .... but most of them were sitting tight to there holes with the deep snow... We'll give them hell reguardless!!

I made up 1/2 dozen flu flus last night.  Hopefully one of them finds thier way to a bunny!!  It would be great to loose some snow but we had quite a bit last year as well.  Less than 2 weeks to go fellas!!!   :thumbsup:

Nope I made up some 6 fletch last night.  I had some old green game getter shafts so I through some white wraps on the end and fletched them with white, black, and orange 4" uncut feathers and put hex heads on them.  They look pretty sweet and should be just what the doctor ordered for some bunnies!!!

I would like to offer up a Cockapoo for the Bunny Hunt. It has a good nose...

It was my wifes Birthday and Anniversary present two years ago... When I see it, "Alls I see is a New Bow eating food"...

the raffle list continues to grow guys... a few more items listed. We will be "auctioning" off the new 64" 53# 3 pc firefly longbow built by Jim Jones......the rest of the items will be 5.00 per raffle ticket or 6 tickets for 20.00
