The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Stay sharp, Kenny.

Great Job Slayer1. How'd you like seeing those white fletchings flying to the mark?

Looks like my first trad doe two years ago, right in the back of the lungs.  Was just kind of magic the way the string slipped and the fletch disappeared.  Congrats!

I have killed a bunch of deer with the wheels. But nothing compares to the feeling of taking a deer with traditional gear. Last year I shot a doe and had to leave her overnight. The coyotes got to her first. I shot that one with a re-curve. That bow just didn't fit me. So I sold it and bought my longbow from a fellow tradgang(Crash). I guess I am considering this my first kill since I will be able to eat the meat!

TJ, I love white feathers. You can see them really well. I keep all my gear plain - nothing fancy. No cresting or wraps. Those white feathers just disappeared right in the back of the rib cage. I think that picture was the exit hole. Got the back of the lungs. The arrow was covered in blood with bubbles in it. She only went about 60 yards and piled up.

This is the entry hole. Them landsharks dont play.
