Beautiful Virginia buck! Surry is down southeast of me, do they hunt deer with dogs there? If so, this is even more of a coup for you. I enjoyed reading your tale. Thank you for sharing with us!

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Congratulations in a big way!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are way ahead of the game. It only took you a short time to realize there is more to the hunt, than just the kill. Many of us continued to hunt with a compound even though we knew there was something missing.

Heres to many years of the quiet thump of your traditional bow in the pursuit of memories.

Zane, very nice story. It sounds like you made one heckuva shot. You should be very proud of your accomplisment.   :clapper:
