i was lucky enough to win your "friday arrow"and it sits right  beside my other cherished JLMBH arrow--the one i shot from the LDB and killed a rabbit with  2 years ago those arrows don't leave the house-in fact i won a display plaque for arrows built and donated by brent bassi- thanks buddy --but another prize that does, is the knife that Ru so kindly donated last year--she's a pleasure to handle and own--nice work Ru!this hunt was the best !!shawn puts on quite an event!!and thanks to all the folks-family ,friends, the fire company --and of course the TG'ers--see ya next year for sure!!!

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Mike, must be you rubbed off a little of that on Joe, he has one of the arrows that you made, it came with the bow you made. It hangs on the wall in his room and he will never shoot it because he doesn't want anything to happen to it. I think it's a good idea, I know that I shouldn't risk my Killdeer arrow but, it will mean so much more to me if I can take an animal with it, then I'll hang it up for good.

One thing I wanted to post before we wrap this up is a picture of My daughter with her new bow that she (I) was given after the raffle on Saturday night. See it seems the person who won it didn't have any kids and didn't want to give his better half any ideas. I want to thank the two people who made it happen (and I hope I get the names right, if not please forgive me), Tim Kosteczko for gifting the bow, and Bamboo for building it. Thanks guys! Emily loves her new bow. Hopefully I can bring her along one of these years.

I'm here at work...so I'll give my closing comments:

As usual, a generous thank you to Shawn,Cindy and everyone who worked so hard to make this event a success every year.

Honestly, the group of guys that showed up this year and in years past are some of the finest bowhunters and people you would ever want to meet and spend a weekend with.

No Complaining, no bitching just guys working hard to get a few shots at some rabbits. To most guys who may never make it out west for the larger game, this IS their elk hunt or caribou hunt and they put all their energy into making this weekend enjoyable not only for themselves, sons or daughters but to EVERY OTHER HUNTER.

Thanks again...now...I'm off delivering some parts to the Mfg line...
