Spoke to Tom Phillips last night , he called to tell me that he picked up some bum on the side of the road that kept saying his name was bowdoc , Tom was not sure it wasnt an imposter.
It was about midnight and they were somewhere in Vermont headed north to hook up with the rest this morning. These guys are having more fun than should be allowed.

I spoke with JC last night and they were getting ready to pull an all nighter into Canada. I am sure they were a sight for the boarder officials.

I started thinking it might take a miracle for that group to get through!

JC called this morning but I missed the call. I was playing dugout mom and yelling at boys. Had to wear JC's coaches shirt that says "Coach Joe" on the back. Can't tell you the looks I got...
Anyway, he said he had cell service (roaming) at that moment but didn't know if it would last. Also didn't know how much the call was costing!

I will let you know when I hear from them and try to get some stories...he did say that Tippit had the most awesome "man" room he had ever seen. You guys and your stuff.... :rolleyes:

They did get the cookies packed and I believe that JC only had to take out a few clothing items. He SHOULD still be fully clothed...if not, I will be wanting to know why...

If JC shared some of those gooood cookies with the border guards I'm sure they had no trouble getting thru. Comming back with no cookies to offer might be a big problem. Looking forward to some great bear stories and pictures. (Naked guy chasing a bear with a stick; imagine that.)

Ok....I just tried, unsuccessfully, to reach JC via the camp sat phone. After a very frustrating 5 or so minutes I gave up. The "Jerry" I was supposed to ask for never came to the phone but I did speak to several others I believe....none of which were our guys....

David, I guess your right. With that crew that is probably the best we can hope for!
Doc's wife is the closest so she will be the one to have to go get them if there is trouble....
maybe I should check the cash reserves just in case....

I think I am going to try to get KFC grease to use next year. That my even up my odds at getting eaten. YES!!!!!!

BTW - I haven't had Fried Chicken in 2 Days and 22 hours now. It might be a new record. LOL!!!
