Dano

Dang Terry, the value just went up on that bow. A dinamite job on that handle wrap. Sweet full draw profile too.

Nice save, Terry. So now my question is, since the handle became reflexed after "the incident", and now the laminated handle helps hold the reflex, how much more reflex do the tips hold as compared to "pre - incident"? Steve

AZStickman

Thanks Dano.....  :D
Steve.... She was at about 1 3/4" reflex before and now she's measuring 2 1/2" after sitting unbraced almost a half hour......Terry

Steve

Wow Terry -that bow came out great! Been alot of work, but alot of learning, too. A great addition to the auction, with quite a story behind it for it's new owner, too. Good work. Steve

AZStickman

Thanks Steve.....About a year and a half ago when I finally got to where I could make a bow with some consistency and started looking at perfecting tiller I lifted pics of two bows and saved them to train my eye on what a perfect tiller looked like.... One of the pics was of a bow David Mims made and the other was one of yours....You've been a great source of info and encouragement Steve.... Thank you.....Timo if you're out there lurking thanks for sending me the stave this bow was made of..... That Century tree of yours sure did have a lot of magic in it and your generosity with the staves from it sets a high standard of selflessness for the rest of us......Terry
