This is a fantastic thread! Thanks for taking the time to share your adventure with us.

I was glad to read I wasn't the only one to notice the pink hair. It kept me from sticking my foot in my mouth.

Absolutely amazing! thanks for sharing with us. you might have said already but what type of camera did you use? the photos are top notch! Congrats on some great trophies and memories!

LEOPARD

Chris, I'm not sure what camera James was using. I was using a Canon Powershot S3 IS and Andy was using a Canon iXUS. Quite a few of the landscape pics that Andy posted were taken with a Canon EOS DS3.

I should have guesses. Canon makes some real nice cameras. Thanks again for the story!

Can't think of anything adequate enough to describe how perfect this hunt w/your friends!! As good or better than anything I've ever seen. Much obliged!

Straitera,

Andy and I, along with 5 others, will be embarking on a 12 day hunt in Australia in about 3 weeks time, so keep you eyes peeled for pics. It's gonna be a great trip, and lots of pics afterward!  ;)

Incredible Thread!  I don't have a prayer of putting together photos like these.  I'll probably go for "quantity" and hope to get lucky on a few photographs.
The guys I'm going with are really good with video equipment so I hope to have a good record of the events.  We leave on Sept. 8th so things are getting close.
Nigel and Andy have already experienced a life that few their age have the slightest clue about.  "Freedom" and "adventure" are words that keep coming to mind.  Just awesome guys...
Live every day like its your last, one day you'll be right.

thanks Paul

hope you have a great trip, looking forward to your pics and stories when you get back
