Let her know theres plaenty of resources available for her to get her out of that situation...one of the hardest parts is the getting out.

When I see someone in that situation I ask them, "Are you happier when he/she (abuser) is not there or at home? They usually reply yes and I ask "Wouldn't you want to feel that way all the time?" and they usually reply yes again. Sometimes a light then goes off and they start moving to fix what they're in.

Shell, It is tough to see someone going down a dead end road and even more so when it is a family member.All that we can do, besides letting that person know that we love them and are only concerned for what is best for them,is pray that God sends someone or something into there life that helps them see the light.I pray that your sister comes around Shell and that she starts looking at herself in a positive way and realizes that she deserves better than this.Stay strong Shell.
