Which book written about Fred Bear is out of print?

I believe "Trailing a Bear" by Bob Munger is out of print. I just gave away my copy at my Traditional Bowhunters of MD banquet for an auction.

Thanks, I have two news ones that I am going to do something with .

That's my favorite book.  I have two copies, each inscribed by Munger family members.  And a third copy I loan to friends.  IMO, Someday that book is going to Sky Rocket in price, or will be put back into print.

I just picked one up at the PBS Banquet. I'm about half way thru it and am liking it better than FB's field notes. I know "BLASPHAMY"! LOL
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

Yah, I really dig Munger's book w/ all the adventures and great sense of humor (both he and Fred).
I have a copy of I Remember Papa Bear, by Lattimer. But haven't read it yet - anybody have opinion on that book?
Or how about Fred Bear: The Biography of an Outdoorsman, by Kroll?

Haven't been around much and ran into this thread.  Dad and I ran into Charlie Kroll at an archery shoot and shot a round with him. Dad met Charlie when he was on Bears advisory staff and became friends with him.  After we shot the round I picked up Charlies book and asked him to sign it. It reads, "Jon, may all your trails be happy ones, Charlie Kroll".  It was the following year that Charlie moved on.

B AIR O, Remembering Papa Bear is a good book. Dick delves into the business end of Bear Archery, not just hunting stories. A lot of information in his book. Well worth a read.
