Sorry Trap, I was trying to swap the pics for a couple better ones last night but fricken Photobucket crashed or locked up in the middle of everything. I got them back up today .... enjoy

Chuck, let's talk about the arrow with the water transfer decal.

Do you think that's something that came from Bear Archery or something someone else did? I haven't seen others like it but of course there's a lot of things I haven't seen.

Cool arrow though. I was watching it on the big auction site also.

I think it's an original Bear arrow  and that's good enough for me but others will have their doubts for sure. I have no way to verify one way or the other....

Over the years I've found & seen several late 1940s/early 1950s original Bear Arrows with the running Bear water transfer decals.

After decals began to be reproduced in the 1990s, some guys installed fake decals on old arrows.

Fakes can probably be easily detected if they are examined in person by a qualified individual in possession of an original for comparison.

In addition to arrows with the running bear decals, some old original arrows have the Bear Archery Shop of Detroit water transfer decal on them.

Like the running bear, fakes of the Bear Archery Shop of Detroit also exist.
