I was just wondering if anybody could give me any info on a Ben Pearson Old Hickory Cat No. 500.. Whats it worth? Hows it shoot? Would it make a decent hunting bow?? Thanks guys!!

Horney Toad

Is that bow a solid piece of hickory? I read about one once, I think they are real old. Seems to me that you should retire that old bow from hunting.

The old Hickory 500 is a wallhanger and a collectors item. Find a different bow to hunt with.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

Thanks for the replies fellas! I had someone offer me this bow in a trade, but wanted to get some info first and I got exactly what I wanted! Really appreciate it!
