I have a Bear 1967 Tamerlane that is 35# and
69" sometime in The past I have lost the original string. I would like to know what length and where to buy.thank you much.
P.S. sure like this sight!

The actual string length for a 69" Tamerlane would be around 66".  Usually 3" shorter than the AMO stated length.  A 35# bow would use about a 10 strand string, but I would go with a 12 strand to be safe.  That is if you are using a B-50 endless loop string.  Some like Flemish, I don't.

"DO NOT" use a fastflight string on that bow.  You "will" break the tips.

Just FYI- I had a 35# 69" '67 Tamerlane.  Smoooooth shooter.  It developed a crack in the riser so I sent it back to Bear for warranty.  They replaced it with a '68 37# 69".  I didn't complain.  Some purty rosewood in those risers.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

Thanks for the info and it has some nice grain in the riser. It will be nice to get it back out
to through a few arrows at the target.
