May have been posted before, but I'm new here. How do you tell what year a Bear bow (Grizzly or Kodiak Magnum) was made? Is it the date on the bow, or within the serial #?

If it was made in the 60's, the first digit of the serial number indicates the age. 6 for 1966, etc. If it was made in the early 70's, The serial number will start with something like KT. Beyond that, it takes an expert to date Bears, and I'm not one. Maybe if you could publish the serial number of the bow, someone could help you more.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.
