QuoteNow that "Colt" has to be a Colt Firearms bow. Not a Ben Pearson Colt... Right?
That is correct.
No matter what type of bow is shot, we're all archers.

What model is it?  Pioneer? Plainsman? What?

One of the nicest Colt Firearm bows I have seen.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

It's a "Heritage" Thanks for the comments.

I am going to put a few of my target bows on that site. A 63 Kodiak Special, A 68 Tamerlane, A 63 Grizzly, and a couple P2 Wings if you guys want some nice target bows. They are collecting dust and are going to go.

I really like those vintage target recurves. This is the closest I have to a vintage target recurve:

a 69" Herters International Match Hunter

shamus ,
That's a sweet looking bow
A Gobbler yelp Spring or Fall is a long conversation.

Here's a nice piece of old furniture  :)  Just took delivery of it today. Made by Kings of Kelso bowyers - predecessors of Border Archery. They were in business from 1969-1973. This is their top of the line "International" target bow. 1970, 70", 37lbs @ 28". Riser is rosewood, bubinga and maple.

I got re-interested in recurves recently. I bought a Tamerlane (1971 - HC-300) mainly because I couldn't afford one in 1971. Buying it resulted in a very old itch getting scratched and it turned out to be just as good a bow as I thought is would be.
