Kodiak Man

What would this book be worth these days?

Thanks

Hard to tell. But if you watch "that" online-auction-site, you see the Field Notes sometimes exchange hands for $80-$100. Maybe you can double that with an autograph?!

Woodduck

Believe I remember an 'inscribed one'(like, Happy hunting, Jimmy, and his signature) that went for $180 not long ago.
So, probably around $200. Just an educted guess. For one that is just 'signed.'

I would not want the one, especially, that had someone else's name on it.
That's why just the signature with no one else's name would fetch more, seems to me.
You never know....
Happy trails....   ('till we meet again, Dale Evans Rogers)

Is it only Fre4d Bears signature or is it signed to someone ??? Makes a difference in value...

Kodiak Man

Signed to someone.  Please help with difference.
Trying to put a fair price on it for a shoot this weekend.  Also have The witchery of Archery 3rd edition (1928), know anything about that one?

Is the book signed with just Fred Bears name and date or did he sign it to "John Doe" and then his name and date.

If only Fred Bears name appears then it's worth more then if it was signed to someone.

The only way it would be worth more signed to someone is if the person it was signed to was famous like Frank Scott or Dick Lattimer or General Joe Engle. Hope this helps......

Kodiak Man

John Doe date and signed and I don't think this dude was famous. LOL

Mickey Mouse is famous so that would make  a signed book to him worth more....(just my opinion)
