Anyone heard of him? I am pretty sure the first name is Elman, the second name looks like patterson, but could be Patermon or something similar. I picked up a nice TD longbow recently with a camo paint job on it and the accompanying Selway quiver.  I stripped most of the paint off the lower limb and found this partial info. Nothing else.

Tom I.

I'd be interested to know how you stripped off the camo paint.  I have a recurve that some previous owner camo'ed and I'm afraid normal stripping chemicals will attack the glue holding the laminations together.
Thanks
Tom I.

His name is Elmer Patton.  He lives in Wynne Arkansas.

Thanks Papa! I am really happy with this longbow and plan on shooting it quite a bit. I will post pics if anyone is interested.

Elmer is one of the nicest guys you'll ever talk to and makes a real sweet bow.
