Paul, thanks again for babysitting/guiding the wingeing old pommie B at Upindi [OZ] on his first non-trad recurve hunt. Anybody here who wants to sneek a few days hunting in OZ during the "boss ladies" non hunting holiday PM me and I will give you the contact info for Paul and Upindi. Unbelievable hunting. My boss lady was very impressed with Paul, Upindi and his nature tour. Stellar appetite as well;-]

The bad news mate is that I will insist on you being my back-up;-] Peep on that longbow? lol. You may be 15 yds from the mountain but I will be at least 17 to give you a sporting chance, remember I cheat with sights.

Add in apx 5fps for the use of a release and I am truly cheating on my quest for 750 @ 190fps? Ps still have your 425 "x" to mail.oops

I don't know about that mate, the old pommie B maybe?, but the wingeing part definately not. I didn't hear one winge out of you, even after I dragged you through the scrub on that short half hour loop that turned into a 3hr epic journey.   :biglaugh:

It was a pleasure to guide you both, the culinary delights helped a little too.

That sort of back up sounds a bit different to backing you up on young goats and pigs, I might need a peep for that, the kind that you find on top of a large calibre rifle.    ;)

Using a sight, peep and release aid isn't cheating imo mate. You're out there doing it and doing it well and enjoying yourself immensely at the same time. You can't cheat at that.

I know that my easton FMJ dangerous game 250 arrows with a 100 grain brass inserts which comes standard with the FMJ dangerous game arrows and a 200 grain broadhead at a 29in arrow comes out to a little over 800 grains.  That arrow spines in the 80-95 lbs bow weight range on the easton spine chart and they fly well out of my 100 lb recurve.  hope this helps you should be able to make it shoot out of a 75 pd black widow good luck with your hunt
Money for nothing and chicks for free
