I bought a Indian Pathfinder 62" 40# off ebay and when it arrived today they sent me a second bow as well it a Bear Cub 62" 39# made in 1953. A very pleasant surprise. I need to get a nock on the string and start flinging arrows now   :D    Where should I start as a nocking point? and does the arrow go above or below the nock?

Thanks, Ron

Arrow goes below the nock and you can start about 3/8ths of a inch above center and adjust from there.

Good advice, the Bear Cub is most likely not from 1953, that is the patent date. Most of them are marked 1953. The serial # will tell ya when it was made. Shawn

Either way it was great surprise and I like the feeling of it better than the Indian I think.
