I'm thinking about ordering a vision longbow
two piece..Any pro's or con's??  How druable are
they and are there any slack or movement in handle
when strung??I'm a big fan of robertons bows and
have several longbows but thought a takedown would
be handy..thanks for your comments....allen

My connexion hinge Robertson is still as tight as day one.

I've had mine 4 years or so...never any problems with the takedown system.  It's great - no tools needed and no parts to lose. I'm near Dallas for a few more days, if you're near there I can show you mine.

Chris, I appreciate your offer, but I'm looking
at one tomorrow that I'm thinking about buying.
I have three other Robertson longbows (purist and
two visions) and they are great.....Where are you at close to Dallas?  If we had more time I would invite you deer hunting....I own a farm that
has good deer, however season closes this weekend.
