Does 9 grains change POI for you?

I had to refletch some Traditional Only arrows, which come with a wrap.  I ended up just removing the wrap and putting the feathers on directly.  However, it seems these arrows are now around 8-9 grains lighter than my other arrows.

Initially they were hitting higher, but I'm wondering if it was a mental thing I was forcing. I was able to get them to group with my others.

Just curious on the general consensus.

I don't think so, but it's possible.

It's really hard to say.....one bow/arrow settup it wouldn't mean anything, another settup might be so close to marginal that it makes a difference.

My current settip.....25 grains makes zero difference

If you can shoot 9 grains of difference in arrow weight you should try out for the Olympics  :goldtooth:

lol hopefully you know what I mean. I think it was more mental for me. 9 grains doesn't mean much hunting with compounds as far as POI. Since I'm new to TRAD, just wanted to check if they were more finicky with that low of weight change

Orion

Ryan x 2.  Most folks can't tell the difference in 50 grains of arrow weight.  And, in fact, there is very little difference inside of 20 yards.

Thanks fellas. Just wanted to be sure. I hate arrow wraps and don't want to install any

9 grains is like going heavier than normal on the glue lines.......  I personally would never notice that small of a difference.
Double that?  I'd see a small difference possibly.

Doesn't change my arrows much:)

Yeah, and like the 3rd time you sharpen your broadhead.
