Pack ideas for Waldrop pacseat and 2.0 thoughts?

I've been using the pacseat for everything for years, but I've never really found a good solution or option for a good usable small pack to permanently attach to the chair. I had a military waist pack on it for a while, but it was just too noisy. I love the seat, super handy, just need a good place to put a few small items so I can keep things out of my pockets. I love these seats! I have purchased 3 over the years, still have the original version with the webbing. Think'n about buying the 2.0. If anybody has one of the latest, I'd like to know your thoughts on it?

I bought  the game bag and just leave it on permanently. Problem solved. It's quiet and there's plenty of room to hold everything

I use a couple different packs but most often the xop striker evolution. It's a 1200 ci pack with no waist belt...nice sized day pack.

I just lay the shoulder straps over the chair (as it would go on my shoulders) and hook up the chest strap to keep the shoulder straps from sliding off.

I have a larger (37 liter) pack that will hang the same way.

I haven't done it yet but I think it would be pretty straight forward to hang my 3 rivers haversack on the chair...it's their original model.

that's a great design! does anybody make flat satchel-type pack shaped like that, that would fit on the backpack frame like that?

I use my Waldrop about 50% of my hunt time. I probably used it 20 times so far this season.

I did a lot of experimenting with different packs and attachments to haul gear. Simply attaching ANY small, quiet backpack to the frame is easy and works really well.

For the last few weeks, I have been slinging my Sling Pack over the frame (as opposed to over my shoulders) and hiking out. No tie downs, nothing. It has worked suprisingly well. If I were hiking over a mile, I would likely tie it down with bungi cords, but it has not been necesary for my farmland hunts.

It appears there are. Zpack has a 38 liter pack that comes in at 9.9 oz...just one example.

I just looked at those ZPacks out of curiosity. I can't imagine how fast one of those things would get torn to shreds in the woods. and they are expensive!
