Psalms 127:3-5 New International Version (NIV)
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.

German Dog,  now ditch the sticks, or at least, get some rope for safestasending/rappel!
JRB Tree Climbing!
I've  used an Anderson tree sling, since 1984.
Both as a saddle and safety harness, along with my LOC-ON stand.
I used folding screw steps for along time, but the rope climbing setups , of the JRB system, safer, and I can climb the big Walnut trees now.

Well unfortunately about 98% of the trees I climb would not work with a throw rope to climb. The trees lack any sufficient branches for that type of climbing or repelling.

German Dog, JRB has several techniques  for all types of trees.
DSRT, SRT, Hitch climbing, one of my favorites for limbless trees!
You can use with or without a stand, platform, ring of steps. Accessing with or without sticks.
SAFELY!
A Buffet of rope climbing setups!
Climb safe, have a great day!

Frank, I couldn't agree with you more.  I have been using a saddle and using the JRB system for few years too.  Love it, light, dependable and goes anywhere, with only limit learning the correct way to do it.
