This Tippit knife is a historic rendition of a Nessmuck knife from the 1840's...makes a nice camp knife or skinner. I'll pay shipping...BUT it doesn't come with a sheath. I no longer enjoy leather work! tippit

Look up George Washington Sears (his book on low impact camping/exploring is still in print...Woodcraft and Camping). He designed the knife in the 1840's...pretty cool guy!

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Options to Winning Bidder!

I would have thought that the Nessmuck knife would have had more interest. But since most here are hunters, You can exchange the Nessmuck knife for one of my hunting knives...your option. Something like the knife I forged for this year's PBS auction or one of my Pocket Beverage knives...tippit
