Fixed Crawl.....to cant or not to cant?

I just started out today trying the Savora takedown that I recently bought from here on Tradgang.  After 20+ years of frustration with my ability to master instinctive shooting and lack of consistency past 15 yards, I was very excited to stack (height wise) my arrows today within 20 shots at 20 yards.  Every arrow was dead on for the height.  I am dealing with the sight window of my glasses as I anchor.  I was holding the bow straight up and down.  I am wondering if canting the bow works when shooting fixed crawl?  Anybody out there have any insight?

When using a fixed crawl, the objective is to be able to hit your intended target by putting the arrow point on the spot you want to hit (or slightly above or below depending on distance).  I think changes in cant could cause the arrows to miss from side to side.  The fixed crawl is a variation of gap shooting.  Every gap shooter I know either keeps his bow vertical or alternatively, has a small cant of maybe 2* that he consistently maintains from shot to shot.

I suppose it would be possible to experiment and find out what effect different cant angles have on where the arrow impacts, but the whole purpose of using a fixed crawl is to simplify the aiming process, and here we go complicating it again.

I cant slightly.  I don't like the way the bow feels when I try to hold it straight up and down.  I find that instead of pointing the tip of my arrow directly at the "bullseye", I aim it just to the right of it and it flies right where I want it.

Don't shoot a crawl, but do gap, and always can't my bow. Typically 1-2 o'clock but can shoot almost horizontal when needed. I have always been under the impression that if you are tuned correctly, can't has no bearing on point of impact.

On the ground I hold a vertical bow.  When a tree stand I find myself canting the bow some.
