my account was hacked i dont open emails that i dont recognize and paypal stopped it but they didnt stop it till they were into my account for about 400 bucks now they did make it right but it was hacked and they charged a small thing first then they went on a shopping spree

You mis-read my post. The Seller did not want to pay the fees, he wanted ME to pay the fees, which I did!!!! Pay Pal got PAID, I got screwed!!

I can see how Biggie could have misinterpreted what I wrote in my Post.

Let me clarify, when I sent the payment as "personal" I was charged the Pay Pal Fees and not the Seller. So, Pay Pal got paid. I paid Pay Pal.

But, because the payment was sent as "personal" and not as "goods", I don't have recourse.

So, from now on, I will make payments as "goods" and just add the 3% to the total. Then, the Seller will be charged the 3% but he will still net his sales price.

Is that a better way to say it?

Yeah, but I have had a Great, Great experience on Trad Gang. It's worth a bum deal now and then. I have the bow at a local bowyer. He thinks he can make it structurally sound again.

All it takes is money!

In the end, Pay Pal works just fine. I just learned a lesson on how to use it. So, I hope others will not repeat my error.

I get those stinking PayPal phishing emails...at least once a day. I don't have a Paypal account.
