First buck with a longbow. I have shot a few deer with recurves, but this is the first buck with a longbow. It was a windy day here in Northwest MO so I tried walking slow through the timber. I shot him at about 25 yards and he went about 40 yards after the shot.  Better to be lucky than good any day.

#90 Wallace Mountain longbow, gold tip arrow, Wensel Woodsman broadhead.

And done by stalking, too!

Your bow's probably a bit too light for deer!   ;)
