Here are a few pictures of my first knife.....I started building it the night I logged in to this forum and am now addicted!  Thanx to all who answered my questions.
The blade is a lawnmower blade that I hardened and then tempered back to a deep straw.....I found that 365 in the oven left it to hard to file easily.  Handles are zebra wood but i still have to drill the pins and put in a lanyard whole.....yes the handle portion is still soft enough to drill.
Thanx again guys! I'm already working on my next.

Very nice work, especially for your first knife-I like the zebrawood handle.  Larry
