Sent emailed to contacts received off the NABC website a week or so ago to: Stan Rauch, and Dennis Ballard, but have yet to receive any replies.

This pertains a very important issue with the Ohio Bowhunters Association.

I think I am still a member of the council but I think I 'lost' them when my computer crashed.

For those interested, here's an update of happenings at the OBA meeting last Saturday conserning the xbow debate/issue:


Rather than a vote ballet being sent out, there was a show hands to allow the decision on a vote to be put before the Advisory Council to determine if a vote would be detrimental to the organization.


Thirty-something (34, if I remember correctly) to 13 hands to let the Advisory Council take up the issue first.


So basically, we had a vote (show of hands) to have a vote.


If Advisory Council then deems a vote is warranted, voting ballets on the amendment presented will be sent out. The timeline for this decision of a vote is suppose to happen before September 1st, so we should know something within a couple of weeks on the Advisory Council's decision.

I represent TBOF on that committee and was at the Minnesota conference in the spring.  Did you send the email to all contacts or just Stan and Dennis?  I do not recall getting your email, but it may have been filtered.

Stan and Dennis are the lead contacts, althought they are in the process of transition.
