Jeff,

Those knives of yours are top in looks and quality which makes one most desirable!

It will be very difficult to handle that knife that much without getting attatched to it.

 :D

And the maker is what makes it most valuable

Pete,
It was easier to call it whale bone  :)  Where have you been lately?

Shell,
"the maker is what makes it most valuable"

Incredibly goodlooking knife!

Balaena, Balaenaopteridae, same word as baleen.
If you say it and listen you'll hear whale in there.

Over here they still shoot minke whale, at up to 12 tonnes apiece, thats some hunting!

I am getting some (baleen for yew), that i thought of using in a bow, some day, any tips will be appreciated.

Doc,
I'm all for easy.
Still up here in the new house working on the shop.  I'll drop you a line this week.  This is the first time I've been around here for months.  Big Brother at work has me locked out of this site and I don't do the computer thing much at the house.  Makes going to work actualy seem like work  :( .

Pete,
Heck if you can't get on tradgang at work, I sure as all get out am NOT going to apply for one of them lab animal vet positions.  I thought corporate america was going to be my retirement home  :)   Only working 3 days a week now so I guess I'll stay in private practice.  I got my shop up & running so stop by...Doc
