Mike,
That's a nice looking job, are you going to mount it on something or just let it set the way it is?

Tim....
The process is quite simple ( I did it)
1) Skin out the skull and remove as much meat as you can.
2) Boil the head (Beaver skull soup) for a few Hrs.
3) Remove the Skull and pick it clean, Water hose with nosel works good....
4) Dump previous liquid (mother in law soup)
Buy a bottle of Peroxide 40-50 strength.
Putt Skull back in can add Peroxide and water to just above Skull and leave it alone for a couple of hrs....
5) Remove and wash and check for tiny particles here and there....
6) You will have to glue back the bottom Jaw it will come apart, I used 5 Min epoxy....
I also glued the Molars together to hold the Jaw to the Skull....Also with 5 Min Epoxy.

I havn't figure out how our where to mount it yet.
For now I just set it there on a nice piece of fur....

Mike, if you didn't, you might want to soak it in A&H Baking Soda water solution over night to stop any further peroxide action (which over time makes the surface sort of powdery feeling/looking). Then after it fully dries again, spray it with Krylon Acryllic Crystal Clear (2 or 3 light coats is better than a heavey coat - so it doesn't run - dries quickly). That'll bring out the "colors" (including white) and protect it well.  Looks great but I think you will be pleased if you do these two extra steps.

Nice!
Did you have to pick out the brains after boiling, how hard was that.  Nasal cavities?

Dan....
Theres a good size hole where the vertabrae connected to the skull, once removed theres room to remove the Brains.

Thanks, Mike.  I'll have to try that sometime.  Outside.
