Anyone have any suggestions on where I can find some nice soft cases for takedown bows? I really like the Blacktail ones. I was wondering if there were any others out there?

I have socks, I have hard cases. Not interested in those. Just soft cases.

Thanks y'all.

I have a take down cloth case. I bought it used on Tradgang. I think it was made by a Kelly? Not sure and don't have access to it right now. I have used it on backpacking trips. It's a good product.

Safari Tuff makes some very nice soft cases for 2 and 3 piece takedown bows. I have one each for a longbow and recurve,  both 2 piece TD. Very pleased.

Those Blacktail cases sure look nice, and I have always been tempted to get one.  Hard to justify the $200.  I have a nice padded takedown case that I ended up with when I purchased a bunch of random archery gear on eBay.  It is well built and it works, but had no tags identifying it.  My only issue has ever been that it is tight to get primary and back up limbs into and zipped for my 66" Northern mist Skanee take down long bow.  It would fit any recurve I have with spare limbs though.  Just be sure of dimensions before you buy anything.

The SafariTuff case, and a few others cases that are similar, offer one advantage that other kinds of cases don't: you can take the bow down and pack the folded case into a suitcase for air travel, and then when you get there, you can put the bow together and carry it around strung in the same case in the back of a pickup truck without worrying about it too much.  I've found this dual use to be a big help when I was close to my weight limit and didn't want to pack two separate cases.

I will definitely look into the Safari Tuff ones. Thanks!
